Jacksonville ran Baltimore off the field on Thursday night with the Ravens down to their third quarterback, and John Browner has had enough of the feel-good story the broadcast kept selling. With Lamar Jackson on IR and Jacoby Brissett arriving by trade, the bigger question is next year: John and Beav both say it may be time for Baltimore to sell Lamar while he can still bring back two first-round picks — and Beav knows exactly where: Miami. Then the Patriots’ A.J. Brown problem, with the ankle now a knee and the drops piling up, and whether the 6-1 Bills are really the AFC favorite. In college football, Miami visits Notre Dame without Malachi Toney, John admits he likes the Irish this year, and the crew argues whether the committee will always find a way to put Notre Dame in. Beav breaks down the CFP rankings, why Alabama sits ahead of UCLA, and whether Bob Chesney stays in Westwood. It closes with USC-Indiana, and Grant getting no sympathy from a pair of Midwesterners for USC’s seven points at Wisconsin.
