LSU’s flight to SEC Basketball Media Days was grounded by dense fog, and the national media took the bait. Blake breaks down why claims that LSU “faked the fog” don’t hold up, then turns to the SEC’s new federal court filing that still threatens LSU with expulsion, even though Will Wade says RJ Luis hasn’t been rostered. He also covers Greg Sankey’s ongoing fight with Gov. Jeff Landry and AG Liz Murrill, and the SEC officiating problems nobody in the league office will address.
Then it’s the Tuesday deep dive on LSU vs. Mississippi State: Kamario Taylor’s injury status, why the Tigers’ defense has to heat up the quarterback against an explosive receiver room, how Sam Leavitt and the LSU passing game can attack one of the worst secondaries in the country, and the red zone problem LSU has to fix. Plus Blake’s take on Will Wade’s expectations for LSU men’s basketball.
