Early adversity the theme as two Women’s Final Four tickets are punched

Early adversity was the theme for both No. 1 seeds UConn and UCLA in Women’s NCAA Tournament action, but eventually the better teams prevailed.

Credit to Notre Dame and Duke for giving the nation’s two best teams plenty of March Madness trouble.

The Huskies and Bruins head to Phoenix for a high-powered faceoff against the winners of tomorrow’s Elite Eight contests.
