SAN ANTONIO, TX – Trailing by as many as 12 points in the second half, the Florida Gators came back to defeat the Houston Cougars, 65-63, in the Men’s Basketball National Championship Game on Monday night at the Alamodome.
Will Richard led the SEC school with 18 points and the Gators kept Houston from attempting a shot on the game’s final possession.
